Meet Kim.

One thing we can agree on regardless of political leanings - Wyoming is an amazing state! I chose both to marry my Wyoming born and raised husband, John Fenton, and to move here with him to build our home and live out the remainder of our lives. We’re self-employed small business owners, so we know the struggles faced by the small business community and the importance of a strong, diverse economy. We’re also Master Gardeners and Wyoming Naturalists, and are privileged to work with People for People in Thermopolis.

I’m a centrist who grew up in a Reagan Republican family in Oklahoma. My grandmothers were the biggest influences in my life. My maternal grandmother taught me that in America, rights come with responsibilities. We all have a duty to engage with our government - not simply through voting, but by attending meetings, engaging with elected officials, and personal participation. My paternal grandmother taught me that paying taxes was patriotic, and a way of supporting both my local community and this great nation we all love.

I’m running because I believe we cannot be a democracy without having a choice in our elections, and because I believe all voices are important and should be heard. Only through a constructive dialogue with people of diverse opinions can we choose the best path forward for our beautiful state.
