Property taxes are on the rise, which predominantly impacts our seniors. I will work to promote legislation to freeze property taxes for Wyoming citizens over age 65.

Wyoming must diversify our economy and create both economic and social opportunities for our young people to encourage them to remain in Wyoming. Wyoming has so much potential for job growth, but we must pass policies and incentives for new businesses - not penalize them.

The Medicaid Gap (for those making between 100% and 138% of the Federal Poverty Level) hurts working class families and small business owners. Our entrepreneurs and small business owners shouldn’t have to risk their health or financial ruin to help grow our economy.

Wyoming is the Equality State. However, when we pass laws that restrict women’s rights to healthcare, discriminate against our neighbors based on race or ideology, and restrict access to public lands in private hands, we are not living up to our state motto. I will fight for equal rights for all, in all areas.

Supporting our teachers and local school boards is an important duty we all share. Our children deserve the best education we can provide, which means teaching them different perspectives and critical thinking in a grade-appropriate fashion. We must prepare them for all potential careers in any state in the nation, and to compete with students from international backgrounds.
